Officers from each of the main Navy Warfare communities – Aviation, Surface Warfare, and Submarines/Nuclear Power – as well as an officer and a senior enlisted member from the Marine community are assigned as NROTC staff as Assistant Professors of Naval Science. They are instructors for Naval Science courses, and coordinate and oversee many of the Battalion’s operations. Descriptions of their respective duties are presented below.
