Did you know admission and enrollment at the University Park Campus is all that is required to apply for Naval ROTC? There are two different routes to join Naval ROTC here at Penn State. You can join our college program (basic) or our scholarship route. Our college program students have the opportunity to apply for 2, 3, or 4 year scholarships through the NROTC unit. If a college programmer is not selected for scholarship after their sophomore year, college program students can be selected for “advanced standing” and receive a stipend for a maximum of 20 months. Advance standing is only available starting the junior year of college. Stipend per academic month is $350 junior year and $400 senior year.
